1) There always seems to be this issue of parents trying to cross district lines to get their
child into a “ better “ school. How pervasive is this?
I think this is much more common than we think.
It is more common in failing districts areas where you have a better performing district close by. Parents however, do not want to register their kids to a district that is out of their area check out this site. They would prefer having a good school to send their child “in their own neighborhood”– but when there is no such option – they do what they need to care for their child.
